Senior Phlebotomist or Staff Nurse for Senior Phlebotomist Role
• Indefinite Duration contract
• 0.41WTE (16 hours)
• H.S.E. funded
• Based in Harold’s Cross
The successful post holder will provide a full range of phlebotomy services to inpatient, outpatient and residential services in Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services. All duties must be carried out in accordance with Hospice Policy and Statutory Standards.
Accredited relevant qualification at Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) Level 5 or higher. OR
Certificate in Phlebotomy from DCU/National Ambulance Training School or equivalent Phlebotomy qualification. OR
Are registered, or are eligible for registration in the general division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann).
With certification for Venepuncture training and competency
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
Possess the requisite clinical, scientific, technical and administrative capacity to fulfil the functions of the role.
Experience of working with medically frail people.
Experience of Multi-disciplinary Team working.
Ability to use work based technology systems.
