Senior House Officer in Older Persons Services/ Geriatric Medicine
1.0WTE (39 hours)/ Fixed Term (08/07/2019 – 12/01/2020)
Based in Harold’s Cross
A short term contract starting from 8th July March 2019 until 12th January 2020 is now available at Our Lady’s Hospice in Harold’s Cross. The successful candidate will be based in our Care of the Older Person inpatient units (Anna Gaynor House and Community Reablement Unit). Daily duties will include the admission and ongoing care of patients in the inpatient unit, working closely with the multidisciplinary team and under the supervision of the Consultant Physician in Geriatric Medicine. This post might be of particular interest to someone considering a career in Geriatric Medicine, General Practice or Palliative Medicine.
Full registration in the register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland
Minimum 12 months post full registration experience
