Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNSp) – Community Palliative Care Team (CPCT)
2 x 1.0 WTE (39 hours) Specified Purpose contracts (approx. 12 months)
1 x 0.5WTE (19.5 hours) Indefinite Duration contract
Based in Harold’s Cross
Opportunities are now available to Registered General Nurses, with the relevant knowledge, skills and qualifications, who wish to develop their career to that of Clinical Nurse Specialist in palliative care. The successful candidate will join an established Community Palliative Care Team, and develop as an autonomous practitioner leading in the delivery of comprehensive person-centred palliative care.
A panel will be formed for future vacancies in Blackrock / Harold’s Cross CPCT. This may be of interest to Specialist Palliative Care CNS wishing to gain experience in the community setting.
Registered General Nurse with NMBI
Hold a relevant (minimum level 8) post-graduate qualification in Palliative Care
Five years post registration experience
Two years recent experience in Specialist Palliative Care.
Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development
Car owner with a full drivers licence
