ADVANCED NURSE PRACTITIONER (ANP) – PRACTICE W92033
The Partnership at Saundersfoot & Kilgetty Medical Centre(s) is a six doctor & dispensing General Medical Service that provides high quality, patient centred Medical care and Enhanced services to the patient population from within modern first class primary care facilities that occupies a prime location within the seaside town of Saundersfoot part of the jewel in the crown of Pembrokeshire National Park Authority.
The Practice promotes a non-blameworthy learning culture and is able to announce that an additional Advanced Nurse Practitioner post becomes available on Monday 28 August 2017, owing to further investment and expansion and new model of services to the local community.
The ideal candidate(s) should have the relevant qualification as detailed within Job Description. Post is full-Time/Part-time WTE 37.5hrs per week.

The post holder is an experienced nurse practitioner, acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice or in domiciliary setting that includes complex and chronic disease management. The post holder will demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process. They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required. In order to work at this level NMC requirement for advanced practice must be met.
