We are currently seeking to recruit an Administrator to cover maternity leave for our nursing home based in Oughterard, Co. Galway.

 

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable duties and carrying out other ad hoc tasks.

Provide backup support to the front office/reception; answer calls; greet visitors/guests professionally; schedule appointments and provide a PA service to the nursing home’s Director of Nursing.

To work with the management team, colleagues and residents to ensure the smooth running of the nursing home.

 

Skills Requirements

Ability to deal with people in a friendly and efficient manner and maintain a professional image at all times.

Must be enthusiastic, flexible, courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of service.

Ability to work in a busy environment which requires a professional attitude, excellent oral and written English and time management skills.

Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team working to strict deadlines with attention to detail essential.

Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word and Outlook. Experience in Sage Accounts package desirable and must have at least 2 years’ experience in an office environment.
